Why was I banned?

We've banned all email that arrives from the email server that you use for sending out email messages. This is NOT a ban against you or your email address, but rather against your ISP's mail server.

How did my ISP's mail server get banned?

There are several criteria that could cause the server to be banned, all of which relate to receiving spam from the server or domain in question. We perform several security checks against every mail server that delivers mail to our users. We test for open relays, insecure proxy servers, and check several blacklists which publish lists of known spam sources. If the server is a known or suspected spam source, we stop accepting email from it.
